Aura and Spirit

He knelt down, slowly moved his hand toward the amulet, and laid his finger on it, everything around him changed, he didn't know what to think, he only saw the outlines of things, he pulled his hand away from it and rubbed his eyes.

"Weird.. And that's how you see?"

"Yes. Outlines, and the Auras of living beings."

Shrugging, I smiled at him.

"This Amulet will let me stay... Focused, I guess you could say. And return to my body much faster as I project my Aura, or Astral Forme as you might call it."

"Wow. Quite the interesting abilities you have there, friend. Although.."

He sat up, and raised his hand, it grew bright until it caught fire.

"I have my fair share of abilities too, y'know. But these wouldn't have got me out of my predicament back there, so I am grateful for you help."

Stiffening, I let my surroundings camouflage me.

Pyromancy!

Taking my natural magic, I manipulated the flames to look like the amulet, before taking a deep breath and breaking my camouflage.

"I see! How.. Interesting. Pyromancy. To what scale, if I may ask?"

"Quite a bit, actually. I'd rather not demonstrate my full power here.."

The fire around his hand grew, from his hand to his forearm, then it grew bigger to his elbow.

"And that's as far as it goes, until I remove my limiters, that is."

He walked over to a rock, picked it up and set it ablaze.

"I can also engulf an object with fire. Although these powers are meant for making weapons, they can be used in combat just as well!"

He laughed, dismissing the fire on the rock and tossing it aside.

"how.. interesting.. here."

I clipped a talisman to his body. Where he couldn't see, and smiled as his muscles locked up.

"I see how it is, you really DO care about my reward, nobody can resist $25,000 staring them right in the eye."

He let out a slight laugh, he tried to move around, but soon accepted the fact that he couldn't.

"But might I ask how you did this? Another one of your abilities?"

"I have more cash than you're worth in my boots, boy. But yes, an ability."

Shrugging, I tilted his head up.

"You're O Positive, aren't you?"

"How exactly do you know that? But yes, you're right."

He thought for a moment, he smiled, and soon gave out a laugh.

"You're a vampire, right?"

"A very hungry Vampire, yes."

Offering him a wolfish grin, I showed my enlongated canines.

"And, yes, that is how I would know. Now then."

Walking behind him, I pulled my talisman off of his back.

"Be careful with what you do in this town... I'm hunting."

"I see, well, best not get involved in the business of a Vampire, I suppose."

He put his hands behind his back, walked around a bit to get the weird feeling of not being able to move, moving fast was his natural instinct.

"I suppose I should thank you for your help, Azumai."

"It's not a trouble."

Shrugging, I put my amulet back around my neck.

"Anyway, What do you do?"

"Besides running my Blacksmith shop and escaping mobs, I haven't really given my life much thought. I try and sustain a normal life-style, not for me, I have too many problems to be fixed now, but for my sister, she shouldn't be near me with all the trouble I drag along.."

He sighed, bringing his hands behind his head, realizing how depressing it got, he cracked a smile and slight laugh.

"Where are you off to, anyway?"

"I was supposed to drink tonight. But.. I'm hunting, like I said."

Shrugging, I looked up.

"Besides... You've seen it once, you've seen it a thousand times."

He took a paper out and read through it, he crumpled it up and stuffed it in his pocket and looked up at Azumai.

"Don't suppose I could join you? I have to make a few runs for materials. I promise you won't even know I am there! I can be stealthy when I want!"

"I'm going on a vampire hunt."

Frowning, I looked at him.

"Why are you going on a Vampire hunt? Aren't you a Vampire yourself?

He sat there, thinking of why she would be doing that, but nothing came to mind.

"Well, maybe you could make use of my Fire Manipulation abilities!"

"One's been hunting children."

Holding my hand out to him, I smiled.

"If you can blast it, you're on my side.

"Well then, you got the right guy for the job!"

His hands grew bright until they caught fire, taking a few punches in the air.

"I've never encountered a Vampire before, at least, not in a fight, but I got the blasting part down!"

"...Maybe...We should get you to spar first."

Frowning, I looked at his punches, and how I could've broken his arms though his punches.

"I suppose some practice wouldn't hurt."

He smiled, scratching the back of his head.

"So, when do we start?"

"night."

Sitting down, I smirked.

" I see, so, is this Vampire someone you've been hunting for awhile, or has it recently started making trouble?"

He crossed his arms and smirked.

"Either way it's going down!"

"Actually, both. I've hunted this one before, when he was a freshling. And we made a deal.. If he ever hunted humans again, I'd go after him. Well... I've been given news. He's hunted again."

Stretching, I smiled at him.

"Well, it's up to you."

"I am insulted you even had to ask!"

He perked his head up, with a frown, but cracking a smile soon after, putting his hands behind his head.

"So, if my job is to just blast him, why do I need close quarters combat training?"
