Going Crazy.

"I suppose it could be a guilty conscious, but I don't feel that bad about anything. I enjoy my life particularly. It's been good these past few years. Only, i cant remember my childhood. My earliest memory, i was Sixteen. So no matter."

He gave a reassuring smile. Maybe he was just down with something. Maybe he had natural insomnia.

"Hm... What was the memory?"

Frowning, I took my glasses off, waving my hand at the candle to lower the flame.

"Tell me, and maybe we can solve this problem. If you don't, then I'll bite you hard enough to leave a break on your wrist. Understood?"

Joking on the last part, I nudged him.

"Good luck with that."

He said as he rolled his eyes at her comment of tearing him apart.

"I was with my brother. Carrying him home. My clothes were in shreds and i was tainted with blood. Oddly, most was not my own. He had minor wounds on his body as well that appeared as scratches. I had a few gouges i had tied. It was the night after he turned apparently."

"Ah.. Turned?"

Biting my thumb, I watched as it took a moment to catch and draw blood. Frowning, I gave him a pointed look.

"You smell mostly human. So what, exactly, do you mean?"

"Well, he is a vampire. Not a flesh eater, but a blood drinker. I havent seen him in many years. However, I was born a Erant. Similar to a Lycant. However, I am half Rhino. I have the strength of many men."

He smelled himself as to confirm her thought. She was wrong.

Not wanting to agitate further, I licked the wound, sealing it. Tapping his nose with my freshly healed thumb, I smirked.

"You don't smell that much like an Erant. You smell like sin, booze, dirt, mud, and age. I can smell scents, but what I actually smell... It's more like an aura. Anyway, continue."

"I smell like what i drown myself in. I surround myself in that so the others dont smell what I really am. Erant's are the rudest of all races. Honestly, I cant say that im any different from the others. Just a sin burdened as the rest. But most think im just a drunken fool."

Holding his hand out, he gestured to examine her wound. Wondering why she drew her own blood, he raised a brow.

"Fair enough."

Licking my thumb clean again, I let him examine the fully healed wound.

Oddly staring at how fast her skin mended itself, he nearly forgot she was otherworldly. He would have to keep it in mind around her. While he trusted her already, he knew there may be times in which she could not control herself.

"You bloodsuckers amaze me sometimes. I envy you at others."

"We... Have our ways. But, being one of the oldest, I'm very very good at what I do. I've had time to learn. Now, I know nothing of you- do I?"

Smiling gently, I laughed.

"I have a brother like you. He's not as old as you would like to think however. As i was young, he was young. We made some mistakes together."

His voice drifted away as he looked down.

"Some greater than others."

"Go on."

Rolling my head, I let my neck pop before stretching out- a custom I had found myself leaning on more and more so lately.
